Wavey Garms, a brand known for merging vintage clothing, rave culture and London’s underground music scene, has announced the creation of a new record label called Area Records. The label marks the company’s first formal step into music publishing after more than ten years of community‑building across fashion and club culture.
The inaugural release on Area Records will be the GigaHertZ EP by electronic artist ADMNTi, signalling the label’s focus on forward‑looking underground sounds. The move was reported by Magnetic Magazine, which highlighted the brand’s long‑standing ties to the city’s streetwear and music networks.
