Portugal’s SQUARE Festival has disclosed the initial details of its 2027 conference programme, scheduled for January in Braga. The event returns for its third edition and will centre its discussions around the theme of Continuity, marking the second year of panel talks and artist interviews.
The programme includes a session reviewing fifteen years of the Portuguese label Príncipe, with interviews slated for label affiliates DJ Marfox and Helviofox. Additionally, a panel titled Archives and Memory: Exploring the Unfamiliar will be moderated by tQ’s Jennifer Lucy Allan, examining practices of sound recovery.
