The British electronic duo Orbital have revealed details of their upcoming album, titled Other, their eleventh studio release following 2023’s Optical Delusion. The record is introduced by the lead track “Mother, Maiden & Crone”, which incorporates themes of witchcraft and folklore and features vocals from actress Maxine Peake, according to the press release. The album is described as exploring ideas of otherness and blends influences from punk, ambient, drum‑and‑bass and the pair’s classic electronic style.
Orbital will promote the new album with a comprehensive tour across the United Kingdom and Europe, scheduled for April and May 2027. The announcement was first reported by The Quietus.
