Ministry of Sound’s iconic soundsystem slated for auction after venue refurbishment

The club’s historic audio setup will be sold following its retirement in January, offering a piece of dance‑floor history to collectors.

Ministry of Sound has announced that its long‑standing soundsystem will be put up for auction. The equipment was taken out of service after the venue completed a refurbishment earlier this year, in January.

The move marks the end of an era for the London institution, whose audio system has been a staple of its reputation for decades. As first reported by Mixmag, the auction will give enthusiasts and collectors the chance to own a part of the club’s legacy.
