Liminal 1.1 adds tool for isolating individual transients

The update introduces a feature that lets producers target specific transients for separate processing, a step beyond standard transient shapers.

Liminal 1.1 now includes a function that separates individual transients, allowing them to be processed independently. This capability addresses the challenge of selecting which transients to affect when working with drum loops, recorded percussion, or complex instruments.

The new approach builds on existing transient shaper technology, which typically adjusts attack and sustain across an entire signal, by offering finer control over each transient element. As first reported by Magnetic Magazine, the feature aims to simplify the workflow for producers dealing with layered rhythmic material.
