Kevin Martin stops unauthorized GOD box set reissue

Martin halted an unlicensed reissue of GOD's 1992 album and is negotiating an official release, a development relevant to collectors and label scouts.

Kevin Martin announced via Instagram that he has successfully prevented an unlicensed reissue of Possession, the 1992 album by the experimental group GOD, in which he performed from 1987 to 1996. He thanked followers who provided legal guidance and said the effort was pursued on both legal and moral grounds, describing the process as difficult and stressful. Martin also noted that none of the former GOD members had given approval for the planned edition. He added that discussions are now underway with a record label to create an official box set of the band's material. The information was first reported by The Quietus.
