Catz ‘n Dogz release eighth album ‘Finally’ after shifting focus from trends

Polish house duo slows tempo to prioritize songwriting and collaboration on new record, a move relevant for producers navigating algorithmic pressure.

Polish electronic pair Catz ‘n Dogz, composed of Grzegorz Demiańczuk and Voitek Tarańczuk, have announced their eighth album titled Finally. After more than two decades in the scene, the duo said they felt they were overthinking their output and becoming preoccupied with trends and AI-driven algorithms.

The pair chose to decelerate their process, emphasizing songwriting and seeking authentic connections with collaborators while creating the record. They described the approach as a way to release pressure and welcome unexpected moments during production.

These comments were first reported by Attack Magazine, which highlighted the artists’ desire to make a more human‑focused album after feeling “completely overstimulated.”
